Thor: Love and Thunder Will Reportedly Use This Dio Song

Thor: Love and Thunder is still quite a ways from hitting movie theaters but the movie is looking to be a huge installment for the MCU, signing former Batman Christian Bale, unveiling Jane Foster's version of Thor, and portraying Valkyrie as a proper LGBTQ character. While these are all nice additions to the MCU, we're sure a lot of music junkies are wondering what kind of tunes we'll be getting this time, especially after Ragnarok gave us Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.

It looks like Taika Waititi will be giving us some Dio to enjoy as the lead singer's widow, Wendy Dio, has confirmed to Loudwire that the song Rainbow in the Dark will play in the movie. If the usage of Immigrant Song in Ragnarok is anything to go by, the movie will probably use it for a trailer and maybe an excellent fight scene.

Dio's music has always been one for knee slaps so we're sure that a lot of rock fans are going to love hearing this song when it plays for this movie's promotional material. Those who don't actively seek out music to listen to will also get to enjoy something new from the past, which seems like a Guardians of the Galaxy thing but hey, they'll be in the movie so everything's good.

Fans will be able to watch Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021.
