Filming is still underway for the highly-anticipated fourth Captain America film with Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson getting his first solo adventure as the hero after officially taking the mantle by the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

While the plot details remain under wraps for now, we do know that the film will also seemingly follow up on the plot threads of The Incredible Hulk given that some of the characters are also returning.

As we're less than a year now before its target release date, we have another new information regarding the film and it looks like the title is getting a major makeover.

Mackie revealed on his Instagram post that the fourth Captain America film is now titled Captain America: Brave New World. Prior to the change, it was previously titled Captain America: New World Order.

The actor made the official announcement by posting a behind-the-scenes photo of him and Harrison Ford on the set of the film where they are seen chatting in front of the video village.

"When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! LoL... Thanks for the on set wisdom and laughs my friend! Can’t wait to do it again," he wrote in the caption before announcing the new title.

There is no reason stated regarding why the film's title was changed although there is speculation that it might be due to the fact that the term "new world order" is currently associated with an ongoing geopolitical situation involving China.

The title change has also been rumored for weeks and now Marvel Studios has finally made it official just eleven months shy of its planned release date next year.

Whether the title change was due to the geopolitical situation or Marvel Studios simply came up with a better title that they see fit for the story, it is an interesting update nonetheless and it also gives us a little bit more of an idea of what we might expect on the film.

We should be hearing more updates about the film in the coming months as production is still underway despite the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike.
