The Ant-Man film series remains to be one of the most underappreciated franchises in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a lot of it arguably has something to do with how it's presented as lighter and more family-oriented.

It's safe to say that Scott Lang is done playing games because the upcoming threequel, titled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will definitely have a seismic shift in tone with the arrival of iconic Marvel baddie Kang the Conqueror who is far from being a D-list type of villain.

Now, considering Kang — introduced in the Loki series as He Who Remains is serving as Ant-Man 3's main antagonist, it would look like Scott will need more than just Hope Van Dyne aka the Wasp as his ally. Well, one of Paul Rudd's co-stars in the franchise is volunteering to become a superhero herself.

Actress Judy Greer, who plays Scott's ex-wife and Cassie Lang's mother Maggie revealed that she's been demanding director Peyton Reed to make changes to her character.

Speaking with the Inside Disney Podcast, she said: "Well, I am still crossing my fingers that my character will come back with a superpower. I talked to Peyton Reed, the director, about it all the time. Well, I try to all the time."

No offense to the actress but turning Maggie Lang into a superhero seems a bit excessive, especially with Hope Van Dyne around who will most likely serve as a mentor to Cassie. But who knows? Maybe Peyton Reed has something up his sleeve.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently scheduled for release on February 17, 2023.
