Ant-Man 3 Will Reportedly Introduce Young Avengers

Last week, there's a rumor that got out which suggests Ant-Man 3 will reportedly be in the works. Plot details are yet to be known but the word around says they are expected to film sometime around 2021. And to add to the excitement, a new rumor tells us that Ant-Man 3 might introduce the next generation of Avengers.

The rumor came from Charles Murphy from a recent episode of his podcast, Murphy's Law (via MCU Exchange). He says that Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne will have their "third MCU outing." Murphy admits that he only heard about this rumor and there isn't any definite news about Ant-Man 3 yet.

Murphy adds that this film might be chosen to be the "vehicle" to introduce the next generation of Avengers or what they are commonly known as the Young Avengers.

The outlet made it a point that introducing the Young Avengers in Ant-Man 3 makes sense because the franchise is "very family-centric" and was the first "to deal with legacy heroes." Another thing to note is that a key member of the Young Avengers is Cassie, Scott's daughter.

Also worth noting is Kate Bishop is confirmed to appear in the Hawkeye series, and there's even a Kamala Khan a.k.a Ms. Marvel solo show, and Hulkling is also rumored to appear in Captain Marvel 2. In a way, it would be a big miss for Marvel to not take this opportunity to introduce the Young Avengers.

If this was true, there is a possibility that the film would touch upon Cassie's story so it might show a glimpse of what's to come when she follows her dad's footsteps. For now, nothing has been confirmed yet and most of it is hearsay. Murphy made it clear that these are only rumors so we advise you to take these with a grain of salt.

In the meantime, you could look out for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier which is expected to be released on Disney+ sometime around August of 2020.
