Did Marvel Already Greenlight Ant-Man 3?

Though he's not one of the MCU's biggest heroes, Ant-Man is still a standalone MCU franchise, and it's made some fair profits in the box office. While no official announcement had been made for a third film, it looks like plans are moving forward.

This comes from Murphy's Law Podcast:

Of course, nothing official has been announced, so we can take this with a grain of salt, but the past two films have also posted "Pym Particles Productions LLC" as the name of their production company; it would make sense if they did it for the third film.

While we don't have any idea for what a third Ant-Man film could be about, there's this pretty neat set-up that comes from Nando v Movies on Youtube. It basically pits Scott Lang against another, more "irredeemable" Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady; plus it has a great set-up for MODOK.

Here's the video:

I'm even a fan of the mock title which is Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Ant-Man. I think it fits the silly tone of the movies and makes for a better sequence of titles rather than Ant-Man and the Wasp: ???.

We don't have a release date (or announcement) for a third Ant-Man movie, but if it shoots in 2021, we could be looking at a release sometime late 2022.
