We're only a month away from the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania, Marvel Studios' opening salvo for Phase Five and excitement is already in the air, especially as the film finally explores the Quantum Realm more extensively than before. However, it looks like the Paul Rudd-led sequel is experiencing some production mishaps a few weeks before the film hits cinemas.

Set photos of the Scott Lang actor filming in Los Angeles recently made rounds on social media and while one would assume that it could be an additional scene or even a post-credits sequence from the movie, the actor's get-up and the location of filming was already featured in the first official trailer for Quantumania.

As it stands, the studio has yet to acknowledge the said photos but we can safely assume that reshoots actually took place. Of course, given the film's nature and its impending release next month, adding new scenes for Ant-Man 3 raises major concern over its status and whether or not its release date gets halted.

Assuming the film is already 90% finished with its post-production, such changes can easily affect the ongoing process and we all know that it's not a walk in the park for the editors and everyone else involved.

The anticipated MCU project is still on track for release in February so for now, there's nothing to worry about. It's quite intriguing though why they decided to reshoot something that's part of the film's first act unless it's a major scene that needs fixing due to continuity errors and whatnot.

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits cinemas on February 17, 2023.
