It was recently revealed that Rick and Morty writer Jeff Loveness was hired by Marvel Studios to pen the script for Ant-Man 3. However, it looks like he isn't the first person to take on the script, because it appears like Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd has reportedly made a draft for it introducing a popular Marvel character.

According to The GWW, Rudd was said to have previously written a draft for the Ant-Man 3 script that features MODOK and the AIM organization as the film's potential primary villains. The outlet did not go further into detail about the script though Rudd writing a script for the threequel isn't entirely surprising.

Rudd had credits for both Ant-Man films, in addition to starring in them. He earned a screenplay edit on the first movie, while he had an additional writer credit on Ant-Man and the Wasp. So the idea of him making a draft for the third film makes sense. That said, reports like these should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ant-Man director Peyton Reed revealed in a previous interview that comedian John Hodgman has been asking him about playing the character a couple of times. "Not only have you mentioned MODOK but I will occasionally get texts from John Hodgman," the director said. "He has long wanted to play MODOK. It's his mission in life. He's a huge Marvel Comics fan."

For now, nothing is currently set in stone. And given the dates of Phase 4 movies being shifted, the film would likely be delayed.
