Angelina Jolie Was Reportedly Smitten With Johnny Depp
Andrew Morton wrote a biography for Angelina Jolie in 2010 titled Angelina: An Unauthorised Biography. In the memoir, the author detailed Jolie's alleged feelings toward Depp, whom she worked with in the 2010 American romantic thriller film The Tourist.
"At the same time, Angie dressed like a punk and identified with outsiders like the hero of Edward Scissorhands, the cult movie released in December 1990 that was a must-see for every goth worth her black mascara," Morton wrote as quoted by The Things.
"Angie was smitten with actor Johnny Depp, who played Edward, an isolated figure with scissors for hands. The movie's themes of alienation and self-discovery spoke to the angst-ridden Angie."
Depp played the titular role in the film Edward Scissorhands in the 1990 American fantasy romance movie, which possessed scissor blades for hands.

Angelina Jolie also gushed over Johnny Depp when they were promoting their film, The Tourist.
"Of course I always wanted to work with Johnny Depp! What actress hasn’t? I’ve thought he was the coolest thing for years. I practically grew up with him, and had such a crush on him in Edward Scissorhands!" she added.
Meanwhile, the Fantastic Beasts actor was amazed by his leading lady and onscreen partner. He had nothing but praises for the Changeling actress. Amber Heard's ex-husband called Brad Pitt's ex-wife a "walking poem."
"She’s kind of a walking poem, Angelina…You know she is this perfect beauty. But at the same time, very deep, very smart, very quick, very clever, and very funny. She also has a very perverse sense of humor. Yeah, she’s great fun," Depp said.
Jolie shared that they had never met prior to starring in The Tourist. They were just "put together in the film" and they both like each other's films.
Pitt's ex added that when they met, they talked about kids for the first hour and France for the second hour. They had a good laugh together.
"We really enjoyed working with each other in the film and I hope that comes across,” Jolie said.
Angelina Jolie Allegedly Warned Johnny Depp Against Marrying Amber Heard
Brad Pitt's ex had reportedly warned Johnny Depp against marrying Amber Heard. Angelina Jolie allegedly pleaded with Depp to get a prenuptial agreement before he tied the knot with the Aquaman star, Bollywood Life reported.
When Depp fell for Heard, Jolie allegedly thought he was going through a midlife crisis which was why he noticed Heard who was nearly half his age. Jolie was not fond of Heard, so she warned Depp after confirming their engagement, according to the outlet.
"Angelina Jolie is giving romance advice to old pal Johnny Depp warning him he may be making a big mistake marrying Amber Heard," The Things reported.

Heard and Depp tied the knot in 2015. However, their marriage did not last long, they split in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2017.
Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation due to her 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post about being a domestic abuse survivor. Depp lost his libel case against the Sun in the U.K., but the jury in Virginia sided with him and he won in his three claims of defamation against Heard.
He was awarded $10.35 million while Heard received $2 million for partially winning her countersuit. The Aquaman 2 actress filed to appeal the June 1 verdict. Depp's legal did the same to give the court access to all documents, including those from their end.
