According to a new report, Victoria Beckham is having a cold war with her new daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn and Nicola's lavish wedding in April was featured in several outlets, but there was brewing trouble even before Brooklyn and Nicola's nuptials, Page Six reported.
"They can’t stand each other and don’t talk," a source close to the family told the outlet about Nicola and Victoria. "The build-up to the wedding was horrendous."
Nicola — an actress and daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz — reportedly wanted to lead her wedding preparations. She allegedly didn't want her soon-to-be-mother-in-law to take part in the planning and "wouldn't clue Victoria in on anything."
"Communication was minimal," the source added.
The "non-stop petty drama" is reportedly coming between the Beckhams and their son.
"They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months," the tipster added.
The family was also allegedly not happy when Brooklyn shared a cover of British magazine Tatler with Nicola on the cover calling her "The New Mrs. Beckham."
Nicola and Victoria's rep did not respond to Page Six's request for comment.
Nicola Peltz Previously Accused Of Shading Brooklyn's Parents David And Victoria Beckham
Brooklyn Beckham's wife, Nicola Peltz, graced Tatler Magazine's August cover. During the interview, she mentioned that her husband had to try several things he didn't love, referring to his career when he was younger.
"You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven," she told the magazine about Brooklyn's culinary career.
She added that her husband felt "a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn't love it."
David and Victoria's son played football in Arsenal's youth team, but he was dropped by the club around his 16th birthday. He tried modeling and photography before launching Cookin' with Brooklyn, a Facebook Watch show.
"Ever since the pandemic, all he’s wanted to talk about is being in the kitchen, so I just started filming him one day. I said, 'This is what you love,'" Nicola continued.
She also shared that Brooklyn is into business and other exciting things. Victoria and David's eldest child also turned to her dad for business advice.
"I love watching him learn from my dad," she said.
Nicola's statement raised many eyebrows. Many felt that she was shading Brooklyn's parents and dividing the family. Others advised her to just leave it as is as she wasn't part of Brooklyn's life at the time.
"Uh oh. Shades of H and M. Older arrogant wife. Younger, lazy, spoiled husband. I don't really care for the Beckhams but I hope their fans have paid attention to the Harkle saga because I think they are about to live it with the Brooklyn Beckhams," one user tweeted.

Holidays will always be with her family and she will never visit her in-laws. Kids raised entitled," a second user opined.
Meanwhile, others got Nicola's point and agreed with her.
"Honestly some parents do put a lot of pressure on children to succeed and sometimes the child imagines the pressure. We do not know, as we are not them. But she should not be commenting, a spouse should never interfere with that relationship," one user said.
