Despite Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' constant denial, webheads are still convinced that Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature the respective returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as our favorite web-slingers. Of course, given the fact that Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx are also part of the project, it would make absolute sense for Tom Holland's version of Spidey to gain himself some much-needed allies.
Before Spider-Man: No Way Home's official trailer debuted last month, the internet was stunned after alleged set images featuring Garfield surfaced online. According to the latest reports, the said photos are indeed authentic and Sony was actually responsible for removing them online.
Now, a few weeks following the release of Spider-Man 3's official trailer and the "leaked" photos going viral, Andrew is coming out to break his silence regarding the matter. Unsurprisingly, the British star once again denied any involvement in the project but says that fans won't believe him regardless of what he says. In an interview with Variety, he said: "I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I'm a fan as well. You can't help but imagine scenes and moments of ‘Oh, my God, how fucking cool would it be if they did that?'"
He added: "But it's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in. But I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what's happening. No matter what I say, I'm fucked. It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting."

Even if it came from Andrew himself, it's hard to say whether he's telling the truth about his rumored involvement in the film or he's just trying his best to avoid spilling anything. After all, Marvel is known for its intense level of secrecy when it comes to these projects so it's pretty understandable how he would choose to play coy.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in cinemas on December 17, 2021.
