Andrew Garfield made his triumphant return as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home. His comeback, along with Tobey Maguire, was celebrated by fans and there's now a lot of petitions on social media to have them return in their own respective solo films. Now, it looks like the actor might be interested in that.
In an interview with Variety, Garfield was asked if he would be interested to play Spider-Man again in the future. He said, "I mean, yes, definitely open to something if it felt right. Peter and Spider-Man, those characters are all about service, to the greater good and the many. He’s a working-class boy from Queens that knows struggle and loss and is deeply empathetic. I would try to borrow Peter Parker’s ethical framework in that, if there was an opportunity to step back in and tell more of that story, I would have to feel very sure and certain in myself."
There you go, Garfield is interested to play Spider-Man again if he ever gets the opportunity. This should delight fans who have been wanting to see him star in a third Amazing Spider-Man film ever since No Way Home was released.
It should be noted that nothing is officially set yet regarding the possibility of Garfield returning in the role of Spider-Man. There have been petitions on social media for the past few days regarding him starring in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 or being added in Morbius since the release date has been delayed for a few months.
Let's just wait and see if Sony has plans for Garfield to return in the role now that there are massive interests from fans thanks to the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is still showing in theaters.
