And Just Like That Season 2 is now in the works, and returning star Sarita Choudhury drops some major details about it.

Compared to the first season, the British actress, who plays the realtor Seema Patel, revealed And Just Like That Season 2 would be "very different." So, what does she mean?

A Different And Just Like That Season 2

The 56-year-old revealed, via Page Six, that the second iteration of the hit HBO series is "funnier" than the first.

Though the Mississippi Masala star didn't reveal more details about the upcoming second season, she shared her excitement over the coming of Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker) former fiancée, Aidan Shaw (John Corbett).

“[The excitement] makes sense … I would also be like that. When you think about it, he's back?!" she said. "I'd never met him, so I was kind of like a fan as well, you know what I mean? He's great, he's a great guy."

The Return of John Corbett

For starters, Corbett first made fans' hopes high when he said he would appear in the series' first season.

"I'm going to do the show," he confirmed then, adding the news was "very exciting" and he was expecting to be part of "quite a few episodes."

However, it was later revealed that it was just a prank, and executive producer Michael Patrick King and show writer Julie Rottenberg were both irritated about it.

"John Corbett should be writing personal apology notes," Rottenberg told Deadline. "We didn't say anything."

Parker later said that Corbett had reached out and apologized. By the looks of it, he is now forgiven as he's set to make his way to And Just Like That Season 2.

Sam Smith Joins And Just Like That Season 2

Meanwhile, a new face joins And Just Like That Season 2. The show officially announced the coming of Sam Smith in the series, though in an unknown role yet.

The series' official Instagram account shared a photo of the controversial "Unholy" singer on the show's set while peeking and sitting in front of his trailer.
