Featuring different terrors that vary from demons to rituals to local myths and more, fans are up for another hellish adventure in American Horror Stories Season 2. With the new season’s imminent release, here’s everything you need to know.

The new season’s trailer hints at the different themes its nine episodes will feature. There will be a dollhouse concept, a creature emerging from a bathtub and a lot more gory events that will bring chills down the viewers’ spines.

The clip also mentions ghosts and serial killers that will add more mystery to American Horror Stories Season 2.

By the looks of it, the new season will feature a mix of supernatural and realistic terrors that may keep its viewers awake.

American Horror Stories Season 2 will feature new and familiar faces.

For the actors returning for another batch of gory episodes, fans will again see Cody Fern, Max Greenfield, Nico Greetham, Denis O’Hare and Gabourey Sidibe.

All of these stars have already appeared in the original American Horror Story, the spinoff American Horror Stories or both.

There will also be newcomers fans are about to meet, like Alicia Silverstone, Bella Thorne, Dominique Jackson, Judith Light and Quvenzhané Wallis, per TVLine.

American Horror Stories Season 2 Plot

American Horror Stories Season 2 features different stories every episode.

In one episode, Denis O’Hare’s character is seen as the curator of a life-size dollhouse, while Bella Thorne’s role faces the threat of a serial killer roaming around her town.

Other episodes seem to have period concepts. Digital Spy also noted that the second season might adapt the storyline from one of the seasons of American Horror Story after its debut season heavily featured the plotline of Murder House.

Will it adapt the original series’ second season theme of Asylum or will it choose from Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, 1984 or Double Feature?

American Horror Stories Season 2 will premiere on July 21, with new episodes airing every week. It can be seen on FX in the U.S., though its U.K. release date is yet to be confirmed.

However, it’s expected to be out on Disney+, joining the rest of the American Horror Story family on the streaming platform.
