Netflix is on a mission-- and that is to widen its selection of Asian content, particularly with Thai original content.

And thanks to the success of Thai Cave Rescue and Girl From Nowhere, the streaming service seems convinced now is the best time to expand its selection of movies and TV shows from Thailand.

In October 2022, it announced that it will be adding a total of six original Thai content in 2023. These shows and movies will be making their way to the platform exclusively this year.

Netflix's Director of Content for Thailand, Yongyoot Thongkongtoon, reveals:

"From broad comedy to twisty thrillers, this is our most diverse lineup of titles to date in Thailand."

“While we explore class disparity in culinary film Hunger, pay homage to itinerant mobile film troupes in Mon Rak Nak Pak and follow the emotional journey of strangers pretending to be a family in Analog Squad, we also present Delete, a gripping love triangle thriller by leading production studio GDH. On top of that, we’ll be releasing a film in the Northeastern Thai dialect for the first time, with well-loved funnyman ‘Mum’ Jokmok playing a policeman who investigates whether a British man killed his Thai in-laws in the comedy The Murderer.”

Here's the Thai Original content that is in store for Netflix's viewers:
