All of Us Are Dead actor Yoon Chan Young tested positive for COVID-19.

Following the success of All of Us Are Dead, actor Yoon Chan Young scored several appearances in other shows. Most recently, he joined the filming of the upcoming episode of tvN’s The Sixth Sense 3.

Unfortunately, the show’s PD and cast members – Lee Sang Yeob, Mijoo, and Jessi – all tested positive for COVID-19. While there is no confirmation that Yoon Chan Young might have been exposed to them, the young actor recently found out that he also caught the dreaded disease.

Yoon Chan Young Tests Positive For COVID-19

On Thursday, Korean news outlets confirmed that Yoon Chan Young tested himself for COVID-19 using a self-test kit. The step was a must ahead of his scheduled appearance in the JTBC variety show, Knowing Brothers.

The show, which is also known as Ask Us Anything, planned to record an All of Us Are Dead special featuring the key cast members of the hit zombie film.

However, Yoon Chan Young’s test result came back positive, prompting him to cancel his activities and undergo PCR testing. The following morning, his agency revealed that the actor’s PCR test result also came back positive.

“Yoon Chan Young’s PCR test results came back positive for COVID-19,” his agency said. “Yoon Chan Young previously received two doses of the vaccine, and he currently does not have any symptoms. He will adhere to the quarantine guidelines of government health authorities.”

Knowing Bros, on the other hand, canceled its filming following Yoon Chan Young’s positive test.

More Korean Stars, Artists Contract COVID-19

In similar news, it has been confirmed that multiple K-pop acts and Korean stars also tested positive for the virus.

Also, on Thursday, actor Park Seo Joon reportedly caught the virus. He became the latest actor to be diagnosed with the disease amid its 171,452 new cases on February 23. The country now has total confirmed cases of 2.32 million.

Members of BTS, Seventeen. Momoland, Super Junior, iKON, Enhypen, Brave Girls, and Viviz – among others – also got the virus.
