Alita: Battle Angel’s Rosa Salazar Stars in Trippy Trailer for Amazon’s Undone

Rosa Salazar captured the hearts of moviegoers with her lead role in Alita: Battle Angel, but now Amazon has released their trailer for their animated series Undone starring Salazar alongside Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk.

Here's the official description:

UNDONE is a half-hour, genre-bending, animated series that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character Alma, a twenty-eight-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas. After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the truth about her father's death.

What's interesting is, the show is co-created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg who is best known for creating Netflix's hyper-insightful animated hit BoJack Horseman. BoJack producer Kate Purdy is also credited as co-creator for the series.

As a fan of BoJack, I'm already excited to see what Undone is going to bring to the table. With all the talking animals, BoJack kind of blends comedy with its really depressive reflections, but with Undone, it looks like we're going the fantasy route what with these trippy animations and time travel shenanigans. I also can't expect less with Odenkirk involved. He does such amazing work with BCS that it's impossible to ignore what he does next.

Undone premieres on Amazon this coming Sept. 13. If you haven't checked out BoJack Horseman yet, I recommend you start binging it on Netflix.
