This might be hard to believe for some but Alien, a little horror movie that would spawn an entire franchise, is turning 40. While the last film, Alien: Covenant was far from the best film ever made, there are still a lot of fans who are hoping that we'll be seeing a new movie soon. Though no plans have been revealed for a feature-length film, fans will be happy to know that six short films will be coming out to celebrate the big birthday.
Dubbed as Alien: 40thAnniversary One-Shots, all six shorts were made in collaboration with Tongal, an online service that connects brands, studios, and networks with online filmmakers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, there were more than 500 submissions for these movies so it wasn't easy only choosing six. Thankfully, if you've seen the teaser above, you know you're in for a good time.
