Director and writer Mari Okada requested Nakajima for the theme song in the autumn of last year.
Initially, Nakajima had reservations, given her limited familiarity with the world of video games and anime.
However, after perusing Okada's script, she was convinced and proceeded to write a song exclusively for the anime movie.
This music video marks a significant milestone as it is the first animated video in the illustrious 48-year-long career of Nakajima.

Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou, also known as Alice and Therese’s Illusory Factory, revolves around a middle school student named Masamune.
This third-year middle schooler lives in a mysterious town where time has stopped after an explosion at a steel factory.
Due to the explosion at the factory, all the exits to the town remain sealed off.
In the hopes of returning to normalcy, the residents of the town are strictly instructed not to change anything.
Unfortunately, the residents are feeling hopeless and lead gloomy lives. They are eagerly waiting to come out of the town and live normally.
One day, Masamune’s classmate, Atsumi, takes him to the fifth blast furnace of the steelworks factory.
At the blast furnace, the duo comes across a girl who is wild and unable to talk.
This meeting between Masamune and the two girls completely upsets the balance of the world.
The uncompromising love impulse of the boys and girls who are sick of their everyday lives starts to annihilate the world.
