The magazine had previously reported that Yamazaki and Hirose have been spotted as they left and returned to Hirose's apartment together. However, the actors have not confirmed their relationship or the engagement so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Kento Yamazaki and Suzu Hirose worked together in the 2016 live-action adaptation of the Naoshi Arakawa manga Your Lie in April. Since then, fans have shipped the actors because of their great chemistry and reported friendship.

Yamazaki is best known for his role as Ryohei Arisu in the Netflix live-action adaptation of Haro Aso's manga Alice in Borderland. He recently reprised his role as Shin in Kingdom 2: To The Far Land, the sequel to the 2019 Shinsuke Sato movie. He is set to return as Arisu in Alice in Borderland Season 2 later this year.

Hirose captured the public eye with her performance as Chihaya Arase in the live-action Chihayafuru films based on the manga by Yuki Suetsugu. Her most recent project was the television film Tsuda Umeko: Osatsu ni Natta Ryūgakusei.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 premieres on Netflix in December 2022.
