Who is Alice Hewkin?
As a Chinese-born British actress, Alice Hewkin got to experience life in two different cultures. She was born in Jiangsu Province, China but did not stay there for too long. Instead, she grew up in Cambridge, where she attended Hills Road Sixth Form College.
While studying, Hewkin was able to join the local Young Actors Company. She later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her focus was on Collaborative and Devised Theatre.

What is Alice Hewkin's Role in The Brothers Sun?
In The Brothers Sun, Alice Hewkin plays the role of May and June Song, twin sisters with a badass history. As May, Hewkin's character is considered one of the queenpins in the local drug scene in Los Angeles. She is also the boss of TK (played by Joon Lee), who is Bruce's best friend.
Meanwhile, June Song is simply the twin sister of May, who is seeking revenge for her sister's death. In addition to her association with the local drug cartel, June is considered a master combatant.
She also knows her way with tattoos and knives, making her a force to reckon with.
Although she has heard of Charles Sun (played by Justin Chien), she gets a surprise visit from him.
Where You've See Alice Hewkin Before?
Apart from starring in The Brothers Sun, Alice Hewkin has starred in several films and TV shows.
The actress made her debut in television in the 2007 TV film, Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars. Hewkin starred as Tealeaf and got to work with Jonathan Pryce, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Anna Chancellor.
She also appeared in the season finale of Game of Thrones Season 4 as a Wight. You might have also noticed her in Teacup Travels, Stella, and Doctor Who Series 10.
The Brothers Sun is not her first Netflix project as she also starred in The Crown, Sex Education, Emily in Paris, and The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.
