Ahsoka Voice Actress Teaches Young Children About Failure and Hope in New Star Wars Book

Star Wars: The Clone Wars might be coming to an end in the next few weeks, but that doesn't mean that Ahsoka's story is going to end.

Not only does Ahsoka's adventure continue in Star Wars Rebels, but the Jedi Padawan offers younger fans another adventure in the Star Wars Little Golden Book I am a Padawan by Ahoska voice actress, Ashley Eckstein.

The official Star Wars website just recently featured Eckstein's new book, I am a Padawan, and in Lucasfilm's interview with the Eckstein, fans get to learn more about what makes Ahsoka a great character for children.

"I think with Ahsoka, even though she's an alien in a galaxy far, far away…we got to experience Clone Wars through Ahsoka's eyes," Eckstein explains, "And she's so relatable. The lessons that she learned in The Clone Wars — we can relate to those same lessons in our everyday lives."

According to the voice actress, children are going to relate to the story in I am a Padawan even if they aren't familiar with the former Jedi Padawan or if they haven't really been introduced to yet. The story is something that children can understand because it's a story about students.

"The lessons that Ahsoka learns are lessons of bravery, lessons of failure, lessons of friendship, lessons of hope," Eckstein continues, "And then ultimately, just like Ahsoka walks away from the Jedi Order, students graduate and they go into the real world and they choose their own path."

We're certain that young Star Wars fans are going to enjoy learning more about Ahsoka if they begin their journey with her through I am a Padawan.
