Ahsoka is set to finally arrive on Disney+ next week and fans have been anticipating the release of the series as it will also mark the live-action debut of the beloved characters from Rebels following their four-season animated run.

Just like in The Mandalorian, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau will also serve as the main showrunners of the series and it is part of their plan for the post-Return of the Jedi timeline as it will all lead to the upcoming "MandoVerse" movie.

As we are heading closer to the release of the series, we now have more details surrounding the creative team behind the camera and, fortunately, it is also the same names that we've heard from the previous shows.

As reported by Bespin Bulletin, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have revealed the list of the directors who helmed the episodes of Ahsoka ahead of the series premiere next week.

Filoni is confirmed to have directed the first and fifth episodes of the series which is not surprising since he is the co-creator of the writer. As the director of the pilot, he has the biggest responsibility of setting the tone and style that the subsequent filmmakers will follow.

Steph Green, who directed the well-received second episode of The Book of Boba Fett, is back in the galaxy far, far away to helm the second and third episodes of Ahsoka.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey is also making his return to the galaxy far, far away as he is set to direct the show's fourth episode. He previously helmed the fifth episode of The Mandalorian season 3 which had an action-packed sequence involving the Nevarro pirates.

Jennifer Getzinger, who is a veteran director of hit series such as Mad Men and Daredevil, is making her Star Wars debut as she was tapped to helm the show's sixth episode.

Another director who is making her debut in the franchise is Geeta V. Patel, who is recently known for directing the acclaimed eighth episode of House of the Dragon. For this series, she is helming the seventh/penultimate episode.

As for the season finale, Rick Famuyiwa, who directed several episodes of The Mandalorian throughout all three seasons and served as executive producer for the third, is helming the episode which is presumably going to be an exciting action-packed conclusion.

Given the familiarity of some of the names that are responsible for helming the series, this should give some sort of assurance to fans as we can presume that the show is in good hands under the guidance of this group of people who brought Ahsoka Tano's journey to life.

Ahsoka is set to release on Disney+ this August 23 with two episodes.
