One of the unanswered questions that fans have about Ahsoka is the fate of Sabine Wren's Loth-cat Murley, who was seen in the first two episodes and never showed up again on screen after Sabine joined Ahsoka Tano on the mission to find Ezra Bridger.

It also doesn't help that, by the end of the series, Sabine and Ahsoka were stuck in another galaxy and fans are concerned now whether someone is looking over the cat while the owner is not around.

Thankfully, we finally have an answer now as the creator of the series has addressed the mysterious fate of the beloved Loth-cat.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni addressed the fan concerns surrounding Murley's mysterious fate in the series after Sabine left him behind in the earlier episodes.

Fortunately, he confirmed that Murley is alive and well and acknowledged the concerns that fans have about his safety.

"I don’t do the social media or any of that stuff, but it filtered through to me that people were worried that the cat got left alone," Filoni told the outlet with a laugh.

"I’m like, I’m a pet owner! Of course I know what happens to the cat! But it was amazing that of all the things in the galaxy to be concerned about, the fans are concerned about the cat. It’s totally fair."

Filoni also explained that the Loth-cat is smart enough to figure out how he would live alone in the absence of his owner.

"With the cat, obviously, there’s a couple things at play. First, I think Sabine would leave the door cracked open. Second of all, I think Murley’s smart enough to be able to move through the ventilation ducts and up and down that tower. I don’t think he needs to operate the elevator," he said.

"I wouldn’t question if he could, but I think he can move up and down the ductwork to get out there to the ground level. Maybe there are other Loth-cats around. He’s not the only one."

This should ease up the concerns of some fans regarding Murley's fate as we now have word from Filoni himself that he is safe and still living even without Sabine around.

Perhaps Ezra will now be looking out for him since he is back in the main galaxy and he could be the custodian of Murley while waiting for Sabine's return. It's interesting to see if they'll address this briefly in a potential second season.
