It seemed like a huge pipe dream a few years back but Marvel Studios is slowly bringing in actors from non-MCU shows to the billion-dollar franchise. So far, we've already seen the likes of Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio make their respective debuts in the MCU much to the delight of fans.

It's still unclear whether or not shows such as Daredevil and Agents of SHIELD can now be considered canon to the franchise's main continuity, but seeing familiar faces on Earth-616 is certainly delightful, especially given how all these years, fans were kept in the dark regarding their potential MCU statuses.

Speaking of, it looks like another cast member from a series that took place outside the MCU bubble is crossing over to the beloved franchise. An official theater standee for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has currently making the rounds on social media (via The Direct) revealing that Agents of SHIELD star Katy O'Brian is joining the Phase 5 opening salvo.

In case you may not recall, O'Brian portrayed a character named Kimball in three episodes of the hit Marvel show's seventh and final season. Kimball is one of Nathaniel Malick's recruits with time travel ties and considering how the Ant-Man franchise has revolved around the concept of traveling from one realm to another, it begs the question: will O'Brian play the same character from the defunct Marvel show?

Of course, anything is possible in the MCU but It's also worth mentioning that Katy only played a limited role in the show and chances are, fans may have already forgotten about it. There's a huge possibility that she's playing a new character.

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits cinemas on February 17, 2023.
