Marvel's Agents of SHIELD just came to a conclusion on Wednesday night and its finale episodes ended up on a high note!

In a report from Variety, Agents of SHIELD's two-hour finale, "The End Is at Hand" and "What We're Fighting For," scored a 0.4 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, with around 1.5 million total viewers.

This is actually a season-high for the Marvel series and isn't a "bad score" considering it's a Wednesday night. Agents of SHIELD hasn't actually scored a 0.4 rating at any point in its run until the season finale. For comparison, Big Brother had 4.2 million viewers with a 1.1 rating, while America's Got Talent results show got 6.1 million viewers with a 0.7 rating.

Agents of SHIELD wasn't immediately a hit when it made its debut. The show was the first test for the studio to extend the Marvel Cinematic Universe to television. While it may have had a hard time finding a large audience in the first season, the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier helped the show develop its own story apart from the MCU movies.

Reaching up to seven seasons is definitely exciting. Agents of SHIELD never failed to have their fans on the edge of their seats, with their loyalty and passion one of the main reasons the show kept going.

Not to mention its explosive season finale and a reveal of an organization linked to Daisy that seemingly connects the show to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Agents of SHIELD is now streaming on Hulu.
