The Incredibles has always been one of Disney and Pixar's most popular properties, so it wasn't a huge surprise when Disney confirmed that a Lego video game based on it was announced. No new news has been released since, even with the release of the Incredibles 2 trailer, at least until now.
Lego The Incredibles is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this year. While no official announcement has been made, The Brick Fan has been able to confirm the news, thanks to the release of Incredibles Lego sets.
According to the report, the back of these Lego sets flat out advertises the game. Since these Lego sets have started to show up early in Walmart, it looks like an official announcement isn't far behind.
Starting with Lego Star Wars, fans have really begun to appreciate the Lego video games. Fun enough for kids and adults who love their fanservice, properties like Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and The Avengers have all enjoyed the Lego video game treatment.
One has to wonder if The Incredibles and its sequel have enough characters to make for a memorable Lego video game though. Great Lego games like Lego Marvel Super Heroes thrive with big rosters and imaginative scenarios. Basic tie-ins like The Lego Movie: Video Game and The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game have suffered because of small rosters.
No official release date for Lego The Incredibles has been released, though it will be out later this year.
