It looks like A Quiet Place 2 has been creeping up on the rest of the world. The highly anticipated sequel to John Krasinski's 2018 horror flick has just been given an earlier release date.

People were understandably excited when it was confirmed that A Quiet Place is getting a sequel that would hit theaters in May 2020. Interestingly, Variety reports that the second movie, which is currently being written by Krasinski, has been moved up to a March 2020 premiere. This means that we'll get to know what happened to Evelyn Abbott and the children at least two months earlier.

Unfortunately, there is no hope for Krasinski to appear in the sequel. After all, his character Lee Abbott sacrificed himself to ensure his children's safety in the first film. Nevertheless, Krasinski will still direct A Quiet Place 2, which is bringing back Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe.

The premise of the sequel is still a great mystery. However, we now know that a new character will be introduced in the film. It was previously reported that Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy will be joining the cast as "a man with mysterious intentions who joins the family unit." Considering the Inception actor's tendency for choosing creepy roles, we're expecting Murphy to play the villain in the movie.

Of course, Murphy might not be the only cast member in A Quiet Place 2. There is a possibility that Evelyn and the Abbott kids will encounter new characters in the sequel so keep checking this page for more updates.

A Quiet Place 2 is scheduled for release on March 20, 2020.
