86: Eighty-Six Anime Episode 21 Recap
Episode 21 finally gives a definitive answer to the battle against Kiriya - but not to our main characters' fates. While going after Morpho, Anju, Theoto, and Kurena become incapacitated and stay behind to keep the Legion at bay. Raiden gets hurt while protecting Frederica, leaving only Shin - who orders the girl to stay inside Fido - to go after Kiriya.
The battle seems too much even for Shin, but help from an unknown source and from Frederica herself saves the day. At first, Frederica simply begs her former knight to stop attacking her friends. Kiriya, however, refuses to even consider it, as he's too hurt and angry, thinking fighting is all he has left. Federica returns to the battlefield, threatening to kill herself, which shocks Kiriya enough for Shin to incapacitate him for good. Shin's brother arrives to escort Kiriya to the afterlife.
Things finally look up for our main characters when Morpho self-destruct, with Frederica and Shin still close enough to take damage.
86: Eighty-Six Anime Episode 22 Release Date
The scheduled release date for Episode 22 of the 86 anime, titled "Shin" is Sunday the 13th of March. Fans in Canada, the US, and Europe will be able to access it from March 12. Hopefully, this big delay will allow the studio to resolve any production issues, and bring us a high quality finale.
As per the usual drill, Episode 22 will air on Crunchyroll. Unless you have a premium account you'll have to wait at least one week longer for the newest episode, and there will be ads.
