4 More Zendikar Rising MTG Mythic Rare & Rare Modal Double-Faced Cards Revealed

The upcoming Magic: The Gathering set Zendikar Rising will introduce an innovative mechanic called Modal Double-Faced Card (MDFC). These double-faced cards let you choose which side to play, and it's usually a land in the back side, and a creature, sorcery, or instant on the front. Today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed one mythic rare and three rare MDFCs. Check them out:

Agadeem's Awakening // Agadeem, the Undercrypt

Ondu Inversion // Ondu Skyruins

Kazandu Mamoth // Kazandu Vale

Landfall – Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, Kazandu Mammoth gains +2/+2 until end of turn.

Glasspool Mimic // Glasspool Shore

Zendikar Rising will feature many MDFCs, and I think Agadeem's Awakening // Agadeem, the Undercrypt is the best in the cycle of mythic rare MDFCs.

Zendikar Rising is set to release on September 25, 2020; it will release on MTG Arena on Sept. 17.
