Netflix finally released 365 Days: This Day on April 27, 2022, and while fans are excited to see Massimo (played by Michele Morrone) and Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) get back together for more steamy scenes, many are already wondering if there will be a third film based on the erotic novels by Blanka Lipińska.
The first 365 Days movie was originally released on February 9, 2020 in Poland's theaters, and it was acquired by Netflix. The erotic film directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes, and based on the first book of Lipińska series, became a global hit on the streaming service, hitting the top 3 charts in various Netflix territories.
The second film, 365 Days: This Day, is based on This Day, the second book of the trilogy, and it's one of the most popular Netflix Original movies in 2022. Now, one of the biggest questions fans are going to ask after they watch the sequel is: "Will there be 365 Days 3?"
Is 365 Days 3 coming to Netflix?
If you've seen 365 Days: This Day movie or read the second novel it's based on, you already know that the story is not over yet.
A third 365 Days movie is already confirmed by Netflix as the streamer is planning to follow in the footsteps of the popular Fifty Shades movies with the erotic movie franchise as The Next 365 Days is already in production.
While the first 365 Days movie was acquired by Netflix, the second and third movies in the trilogy are officially being produced as Netflix Original movies.
365 Days: This Day and the third movie planned to shoot back-to-back with the same team of directors, writers, and producers returning for both, and it's already confirmed that Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka are reprising their roles as the lead characters, Massimo and Laura.
In addition to Morrone and Sieklucka, Magdalena Lamparska is returning as Laura's best friend Olga while Simone Susinna, who made his debut in 365 Days: This Day as a new character named Nacho, is expected to return in the third movie
Tomasz Mandes and Barbara Białowąs, the directors of the first two films, will return for the third and final movie.
The third movie is officially titled The Next 365 Days, which is also the official title of Lipińska's third book of her trilogy of novels. The Next 365 Days closely follows the plot of the third book, Massimo and Laura's relationship is expected to take a darker turn.
English-speakers will be able to read this book in September 2022, when the English translated version of the book releases.
When is The Next 365 Days coming to Netflix?
According to the official announcement, Netflix has plans to release both 365 Days: This Day and The Next 365 Days globally in 2022, so expect the 365 Days 3 to release later this year. We double-checked the list of movies and TV shows coming in August 2022, and sadly, 365 Days 3 is included, so you'll have to wait a little longer.
Netflix has officially announced that The Next 365 Days will be released on August 19.
What will The Next 365 Days be about?
Since the films are mostly following the novels, we can take a look at the official synopsis for The Next 365 Days book to give us an idea what the third movie will be about.

The English version of the third novel will be released this fall, so there's a good chance that The Next 365 Days will be released around that time.
