007: BTS Featurette for No Time to Die Teases Daniel Craig’s Last Bond Film

Daniel Craig has had a phenomenal run as James Bond since Casino Royale, and he's now ready to give up the role with his last film, No Time to Die. Just in, we have a new BTS featurette with a voiceover from director Cary Fukunaga talking about his approach to the movie.

It's kind of meta to say that Bond no longer fits in with this new world, seeing that he's considered one of the characters that kind of champions misogyny when it comes to movies. Though Bond is a womanizer, the movie is still going to embrace that, and we're going to see how Bond deals with it, now that Hollywood is getting more sensitive to these issues.

Personally, I'm hoping for a return to the more silly versions of these Bond films. The realism got upped once Craig joined the franchise, but based on what Kingsman has proved, I think it would be fun to get back to the over the top espionage movies. Then again, I guess it will only be great until Austin Powers makes some kind of comeback and makes the whole spy genre silly again.

Recruited to rescue a kidnapped scientist, globe-trotting spy James Bond finds himself hot on the trail of a mysterious villain, who's armed with a dangerous new technology.

No Time to Die hits theaters March 31.
