Neil deGrasse Tyson Settles The Sci-Fi Debate: Millennium Falcon vs. Starship Enterprise

Astrophysicist/cosmologist/TV host Neil deGrasse Tyson just weighed in on one of the most important science fiction debates: Star Wars' Millennium Falcon vs. Star Trek's Starship Enterprise.

“Oh that's easy, oh  my gosh, the Enterprise,” Tyson  in a recent video promoting Star Talk, his late-night talk show on National Geographic Channel.“There's no question.”

Then, he laid out the reasons why the Enterprise is superior to Han Solo's ship, saying that  Enterprise was “fake real,” in that there are real scientists and staff on the ship, while the Millennium Falcon is simply “fake fake.” He also pointed out that the Enterprise is the first spaceship represented in storytelling that was designed to explore, not just simply go from point A to point B. And lastly, he said that the Enterprise would "wipe its ass" with the Millennium Falcon. So do you agree with his assessment?
