Avengers: Endgame Fan Theory Says Obscure Marvel Character Might Be Key

With very little information about what Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the rest of the remaining Avengers have planned to undo Thanos' massacre in Avengers: Endgame, fans have been cooking up some pretty wild theories online.

One of the most recent theories that have made its way to Reddit takes a whole lot of creative liberty by bringing the Avengers to an obscure Marvel character that seems pretty unlikely to appear in Endgame. Zoning in on Captain America's compass in the trailer for the Infinity War sequel, Redditor Dyberz calls out to the tool seemingly pointing to the Northeast. Assuming that the Avengers base is still in New York, the Marvel fan claims that this could only point to the direction of Svalbard, the country where fans can find Adam Roderick – an obscure Marvel character with the power of teleportation.

"In the trailer, Captain America has that same object he had in the 1st cap movie, and in this movie, we can see its pointing Northeast! Assuming they went back to their base in New York and they would head Northeast, if we look in the map, we can see a place called Svalbard, and who can they find there? A guy called Adam Roderick! And what are his powers? Well, he has the power to influence his surroundings as well who listens to him and he can teleport everywhere he wants! Will he be the key to save Ant-Man?"

It's a pretty wild theory, to say the least. While some fans are hoping that Marvel might introduce a few new characters in Endgame, it seems highly unlikely that the studio would bring in a character as obscure as Roderick into the MCU, especially during the culmination of the third phase of the franchise.

Sure, Roderick might be an interesting Inhumans character, but honestly, what are the chances of this theory ever coming true? If anything, it'd be more likely to see Adam Warlock make it into the movie, though we do know that's probably happening either. It probably all boils down to wishful thinking.
