Kimizuka is still reluctant, but it looks like his partnership with Nagisa will go on. Ultimately, the new ENGI project seems to be about characters becoming their true selves and going from unfulfilling to exciting lives.

While Kimizuka is still processing the fact that his now-dead partner was the donor who gave Nagisa her heart after passing away, he's approached by Yui. The young girl is an idol who lost her parents three years ago.
Having received an anonymous letter warning her that an expensive sapphire - an important family heirloom - is going to be stolen during her next concert, Yui wants to prevent the theft before it happens.
After some thought, Nagisa, who has decided to live Siesta's dream and become a legendary detective, and Kimizuka, who reluctantly assumes the role of the sidekick again, agree to help Yui. The two disguise themselves as fans and attend the concert, where Yui is suddenly attacked by an unknown man.
While Yui isn't hurt, no one knows how to proceed. Nagisa is at a loss as she hasn't grown into the detective role yet, but Kimizuka's internal monologue that if you thought something was fishy about Yui, you were right; in fact, Kimizuka believes she has been lying. But about what? Episode 4 will have some answers for us!
