Rumor: Brace Yourself for Some Really Bad DCEU News

Ever since the sour reception of Batman v Superman, we've been getting more and more bad news concerning the DCEU. From Ben Affleck quitting the Batman role to Jake Gyllenhaal taking over, it's just been blow after blow for fans of DC. Now rumor has it that some bad news is about to drop for the DC Cinematic Universe.

John Campea reveals during a session of Open Mic (via Batman-News):

"Earlier today, I found out something regarding Warner Bros and the DC Cinematic Universe that I know is 100 percent true, and if I were to say what it is, people would lose their banana minds, and not in a good way. "

Campea says that he wouldn't reveal the news since when he first reported on Ben Affleck wanting to leave the Batman role, he was said to have had a "shitstorm" of haters attacking him online, and once the news became more public, he didn't receive any apology from anyone. Campea has now opted to keep quiet about the news, and is simply waiting for it to break before he can talk about it publicly.

The worst news that I can expect from the DCEU is probably the possibility that they will shut the whole thing down after the 2019 movies come out; other than that, I can think of a bunch of other things. They could recast someone in a prominent role other than Batman, or they could hold off all DCEU movies until 2021. I'm just really wondering what news could be so bad that Campea is certain that the fans would hate.

For now, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed that Campea was just exaggerating.
