The Suicide Squad Main Villain Possibly Revealed in DC FanDome Sizzle Reel

There is little doubt that people are happy now that we finally got the first footage from The Suicide Squad. But did the sizzle reel that was released at DC FanDome also reveal the DC Extended Universe film's main villain? Some fans believe that the behind-the-scenes footage has offered a very small glimpse at the Big Bad who will be going up against Task Force X.

Most of the footage revealed in the Suicide Squad sizzle reel focused on the action scenes, showing the cast going up against soldiers who might be working for the dictator known as El Presidente. However, some fans have also pointed out that a few of the soldiers appear to have a starfish stuck on their faces. Check them out at the 0:14 and 0:45 mark in the video below.

So what exactly does this mean? Are random starfish suddenly attacking soldiers? Although that sounds like something James Gunn might come up with, it might actually be a clue on who the main villain is in The Suicide Squad. Starro the Conqueror is a DC comic book baddie who is an alien that resembles a starfish and could control people simply by attaching starfishes to their faces.

Starro the Conqueror certainly sounds like an appropriate villain for The Suicide Squad but it's important to point out that the villain's DCEU debut has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Do you think Starro is the main villain in The Suicide Squad? Sound off in the comments below.
