The Mandalorian's Giancarlo Esposito Teases Spider-Man Casting With Awesome Tweet

There is little doubt that Giancarlo Esposito can take on almost any possible role. But could the Mandalorian star actually play Spider-Man? Esposito may have teased on the possibility that he'll be playing an older Miles Morales soon.

Esposito took to his official Twitter account to share a stunning fan art created by digital artist gryphon509. The painting depicts the Breaking Bad actor in a Spider-Man suit and Esposito was quick to praise the artist for his amazing work. Check it out below.

"Wow! Never thought I'd see myself in Spidey form! What a very cool concept and amazing piece of art. Thank you so much! Truly love this!!" Esposito wrote before adding the hashtag #FanArtFriday.

We're loving the idea of Esposito playing an older Spider-Man in what could be a live-action adaptation of the comic book Miles Morales: The End where Miles finds himself in a post-apocalyptic future. On the other hand, there hasn't been any news about this story arc being adapted so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Although it's still unclear if we'll ever see Esposito as Spider-Man, there's a good chance that we haven't seen the last of his villainous Moff Gideon. There are speculations that The Mandalorian Season 3 will bring back the Moff although he will no longer be the main villain.

Do you think Giancarlo Esposito would be perfect to play an older Miles Morales in a live-action Spider-Man movie? Sound off in the comments below.
