The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 Reveals Baby Yoda is [SPOILERS]

It has been over a year since the world became smitten with Baby Yoda although we had no idea about his past. However, the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 has finally revealed a little bit about The Child's story and it was somehow told by the one character that everyone has been looking forward to seeing on the Star Wars show.

WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5. Proceed with caution.

In Chapter 13: The Jedi, fans immediately got to see Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano in action. However, it is also revealed that she is going up against the Magistrate of the city of Calodan. When Mando and Baby Yoda arrive on Corvus, the Magistrate immediately employs Mando to get rid of Ahsoka.

At first, Ahsoka is understandably wary of Mando but lowers her guard when he reveals that Bo-Katan Kryze had sent him. Soon, she connects with Baby Yoda although they do not speak.

Ahsoka then reveals that she and Baby Yoda can read each other's thoughts and states that his name is Grogu. She further explains that The Child actually trained as a Jedi but was hidden away during the rise of the Empire. Sadly, Grogu spent several years alone and abandoned and has repressed his own memories.

Interestingly, the title of Chapter 13 was supposed to refer to Ahsoka but it would make better sense to be a reference to Baby Yoda, who is actually a lost Jedi. Needless to say, the next chapter of The Mandalorian Season 2 could reveal a little bit more about Grogu now that he and Mando are on their way to the Jedi Temple in Tython.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 is now streaming on Disney+.
