Bucky Barnes may have been a stone-cold assassin in the past but fans are loving how The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is showing a different side of him. Now, the latest episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series has fans trending the phrase "You are free" after watching a truly emotional scene featuring Bucky.

WARNING: SPOILERS from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 4 ahead! Proceed with CAUTION!

In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 4, fans were treated to a flashback where Bucky was still in Wakanda and dealing with the aftermath of his actions as the Winter Soldier. Amazingly, the Dora Milaje were there to make sure that the programming no longer works on Bucky.

It is revealed that Ayo was the one who actually tested whether Bucky would still respond to the words used to activate the Winter Soldier. However, it is confirmed that those words no longer work. Ayo then proudly tells Bucky "you are free", making the former assassin break into tears in relief.

It's a truly emotional moment and one that Marvel fans will not forget anytime soon. Needless to say, the phrase "you are free" has been trending on Twitter all day.

The revelation of this awesome moment was done to show just how much the Wakandans mean to Bucky. After all, Wakanda had become his safe place before he rejoined the fight to save the world. It's also amazing to see that his friendship with Ayo was truly important and that asking her to stop pursuing Zemo (at least for a few hours) was something he didn't want to do unless absolutely necessary.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 4 is now streaming on Disney+.
