She-Hulk Star Tatiana Maslany Exits Perry Mason Season 2

It looks like we won't be seeing Sister Alice again soon. She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany has decided to leave Perry Mason ahead of the Season 2 premiere and it might have something to do with her upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

TVLine reports that Maslany will not return in Perry Mason Season 2. HBO also confirmed the departure, stating that Sister Alice's "arc came to an end as planned in the Season 1 finale."

In the first season finale, Alice had gone missing after a disastrous Easter Sunday resurrection where Charlie's casket is revealed to be empty. However, Perry Mason managed to track her down to a coastal town where she is now working as a waitress. With that in mind, it seemed that her story is truly over.

Interestingly, Maslany had previously expressed her eagerness to continue with Sister Alice's story. The former Orphan Black star had wanted her character to return in Season 2 but it looks like fans will have to leave Alice in that coastal town while the show follows a different story arc.

Although we won't get to see more of Sister Alice in Perry Mason Season 2, fans can rest assured that Maslany will be busy this year. After all, she has been confirmed to play Jennifer Walters in the highly anticipated She-Hulk series. This means we'll get to see Maslany in action again soon.

The She-Hulk series has not yet been given an official release date. Likewise, HBO has not yet announced the premiere date for Perry Mason Season 2. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
