My Hero Academia Episode 101 Teases Next Major Story Arc with [SPOILERS]

The latest episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 is finally here and it just brought the stakes up much higher. Episode 101 has teased on the anime's next epic story arc and it's the best one from the manga so far.

The opening sequence for My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 13 takes us back nine days into the past where Deika City is suddenly destroyed by an unexpected event. Although it is unclear what happened, we see Shigaraki emerging from a building looking bruised but laughing maniacally in victory.

It's a shocking scene for fans who have only been following the anime. After all, the reason behind Shigaraki's state and why he was fighting in the first place was never explained in the episode. However, there is little doubt that the truth will be revealed in the next few episodes of My Hero Academia Season 5.

The scene was a shock for anime fans. However, those who have been following the manga are loving the tease. After all, it confirms that My Hero Academia Season 5's next story arc will introduce what is known as My Villain Academia. We won't spoil anything but it's definitely something to look forward to in the show.

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 13 is titled Have a Merry Christmas! and is expected to be the last episode of the current story arc. Episode 102 is set to follow Deku and Bakugo as they join Todoroki at Endeavor's hero agency. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
