There is little doubt that fans miss seeing new Marvel Cinematic Universe films considering that we didn't get any this year. However, it looks like Marvel Studios will be back on track with numerous releases in 2022. Interestingly, the studio has just revealed that there's a mystery film that will premiere between Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2.
Disney had previously teased on a yet-unannounced movie that will be released between Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 in 2022. Interestingly, the latest release calendar reveals that the October 7, 2022 release date is still open and this is expected to be a new MCU flick.
So which Marvel film will premiere in October two years from now? There is a huge possibility that this could be the Blade reboot, which will introduce Mahershala Ali as the Daywalker. After all, it was previously reported that the movie was listed between Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 when Disney shared the Disney Investor Day programming guide.
The Blade reboot isn't the only possible candidate for release in October 2022. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was also teased to premiere on the same year. However, there is a possibility that the third Ant-Man film will get a year-end release date instead.
For now, Disney has yet to make an official announcement about the Blade reboot or Quantumania's release dates. Either way, we're loving the idea that Marvel Studios might be aiming to release four new movies in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
