The MCU series appears to be following the Disney+ tradition of releasing original shows on a Friday in preparation for the weekend. The Star Wars series The Mandalorian as well as the MCU show WandaVision both premiered on Friday as well.
Like the previous original Disney+ shows, the episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be released on a weekly basis. Only the first episode will premiere on Friday, March 19. The remaining episodes will air every week.
Details about The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 1 have not yet been revealed. However, a leak had previously teased on the episode title which could confirm that the show will begin with the death of an important MCU character.
The MCU series will undoubtedly follow Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as they try to work together on a mysterious mission that could involve an anarchist group called the Flag-Smashers. In addition to that, the duo will have to deal with a villain they first encountered in Captain America: Civil War.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars MCU actors Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, and Daniel Bruhl. They will be joined by newcomers Wyatt Russell and Erin Kellyman. The series will premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
