People are still showing up in droves to watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train in theaters. However, it looks like you don't need to leave the house to watch the highly anticipated film. It has been revealed that both subbed and dubbed versions of the full anime flick have been uploaded on the PlayStation Store and can be purchased for a small fee.

The Demon Slayer movie was actually released in theaters in the US on Friday, April 23. However, the digital release isn't set until June. This is why fans were shocked when they discovered late on Monday that Mugen Train is available for purchase on the PlayStation Network for $12.99.

Naturally, people thought this may have been an error and that the Demon Slayer film hasn't actually been uploaded. On the other hand, several fans have pointed out that they tried to make the purchase and the transaction went through.

This is a huge mistake considering that Mugen Train isn't set for digital release until June. Luckily, someone was able to spot the error right away and the film has been removed from the online store.

Meanwhile, the Demon Slayer movie's US theatrical release has been truly successful. The anime film brought in an impressive $19 million on its opening weekend alone, making it the second-highest-grossing film after Mortal Kombat last weekend.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train is now screening in selected theaters nationwide. The film is set to release digitally on June 22, 2021.
