Amazon's Wheel of Time Series Adds Major Characters Siuan Sanche, Min Farshaw, and More


It has been a while since we got any updates about Amazon Prime's upcoming adaptation of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time. Luckily, the highly-anticipated series has just added some major characters and it's time to meet some of the Aes Sedai like Siuan Sanche, Min Farshaw, Liandrin Guirale, and more.

The official Wheel of Time Twitter account announced the new cast members with short descriptions of the characters they will play. Check them out below.

Sophie Okonedo will play Siuan Sanche, the former Amyrlin Seat. The character was the leader of the Aes Sedai in the White Tower in Tar Valon until fate stepped in.

Liandrin Guirale is another Aes Sedai who will be introduced in the series who could be connected to Siuan. She will be portrayed by Brave New World actress Kate Fleetwood.

The third Aes Sedai confirmed for the show is Kerene Nagashi, who is known as one of the most powerful channelers of the White Tower. She will be played by Clare Perkins while the character's Warder will be portrayed by Vikings actor Peter Franzen.

Min Farshaw is not Aes Sedai but she is just an important as Siuan since she becomes connected to Rand Al'Thor in the books. The character will be portrayed by Kae Alexander.

For now, The Wheel of Time has not yet been given an official release date. In addition to that, it is unclear if the show has resumed production due to the coronavirus outbreak. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
