New Pokemon Sword & Shield Information Will be Released This Week


Pokemon Sword & Shield are the next mainline entries coming to Nintendo Switch later this year and it's a title that has garnered some controversy. There are a ton of fans who feel that Game Freak removing the National Pokedex is the last straw since they really want their old Pokemon to be with them. Still, there are fans who love the new Pokemon and trainers so it's definitely going to be a title that divides many.

Well, if you're interested in the two games or want to learn more about it, The Pokemon Company has confirmed that new information on these mainline entries will be revealed on Wednesday, August 7. It's not yet known what the information will be but we'll probably get something on the areas or story; maybe even a new Pokemon or two.

Fans have a lot of expectations, whether they be the evolutions of the starter Pokemon that have already been revealed or even the number of new creatures made for the games. While Game Freak will be bringing back a ton of older Pokemon, we can only hope that these two titles balance things out with newer monsters for us to catch.

Pokemon Sword & Shield are coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 15. Hopefully, they live up to fan expectations and give us a solid RPG experience that anyone can enjoy.

Pokemon
