Super Cub is an anime series by Studio Kai made in commemoration of the Honda Super Cub's celebration of 100 million units being sold by the company. It brings to the screen the pages of the light novel series of the same name by Tone Kōken with the illustrations of Hiro published in Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko and the seinen manga series of the same name by the same author with the illustrations of Kanitan published under Kadokawa Shoten's Comic Newtype manga website
Set in the Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan, Koguma started as a girl living on her own with nothing, no parents, no friends, not even hobbies. She then encounters the Honda Super Cub 50 at a local dealer and when she took it upon herself to purchase one not knowing how such a decision would be the life-changer bringing colors into her life.

What happened in Super Cub Episode 2?
In Super Cub Episode 2, Reiko, Koguma is now with her very own Super Cub and although at times, it still remains awkward, she is slowly learning and adjusting to being able to handle her Super Cub. In school, Reiko learns that Koguma now has a Super Cub and she approached Koguma asking if she can see it. Despite being confused, Koguma agrees and this day starts their friendship.
