Yuru Camp Season 2 Episode Count has been a question surrounding the anime series also known as Laid-Back Camp, Yuru Camp revolves around the group of friends of Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Rin Shima, and their friends with their love of traveling outdoors in their various trips on different campsites around Japan.
Nadeshiko is a high school student from Shizuoka and when she moved to Yamanashi, she was starstruck with the views surrounding the place that she decides to pursue Mount Fuji. She took her bike and hit the road; however, she was forced by the worsening weather to turn back.
On her way home, Nadeshiko fainted and when she woke up, she was in the care of Rin Shima who rescued her on the road when she collapsed. That day, she got a friend strengthened by their common interest in camping.
Yuru Camp is based on the Japanese seinen manga series by Afro which is published in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine and in Comic Fuz. The manga series is published in English by Yen Press. To date, the seinen manga series has eleven tankōbon volumes.
With the manga receiving positive reviews, it got its first three volumes part of the 2019 Great Graphic Novel for Teens in the American Library Association and got a nomination for the Eisner award under the category of Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia.
The manga series scored an anime adaptation made possible by C-Station and was co-financed and licensed by Crunchyroll. It is even listed as one of the Top 100 best anime of the 2010s in Crunchyroll. Because of its popularity, it even had a short anime Heya Camp. It also inspired a virtual reality video game as well, Laid-Back Camp Virtual, currently under development from Gemdrops.
The first season of Yuru Camp has twelve episodes which are directed by Yoshiaki Kyōgoku, written by Jin Tanaka, and characters designed by Mutsumi Sasaki. It aired in 2018 and its success scored second season, a new film, and short anime. It even had a live-action adaptation in a television drama series in TV Tokyo.
Yuru Camp Season 2 is slated to have 12 episodes and an original video animation like the first season had. That makes something like 13 episodes for the whole second season of Yuru Camp. It is also expected to have a Blu-ray Disc/DVD release on three volumes like the first season.
Crunchyroll is the official distributor of Yuru Camp as it co-financed the series' anime adaptation. It airs in its original Japanese audio paired with the English subtitles. For those with premium access, one can have the privilege of a week earlier of streaming the latest episodes of Yuru Camp for the price of $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.
