The U.S. Copyright Office website shared a synopsis for the Dungeons & Dragons film, which takes place in Forgotten Realms, the setting of various novels, video games, and tabletop games. The news follows a viral tweet that shared a link to the film synopsis which mentions some details about the Faerun lore, and it offers fans a look at the various game classes and factions expected to be featured in the film, including the Harpers.

You can read the full snynopsis below:

An ex-Harper turned thief escapes from prison with his partner, a female barbarian, and reunites with a no-talent wizard and a druid new to their team in an effort to rob the cheating conman who stole all their loot from the heist that landed them behind bars, and used it to install himself as the Lord of Neverwinter. Only the traitor is allied with a powerful Red Wizard who has something far more sinister in store. Being directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley, and starring Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez.

However, even though the synopsis appeared on the US Copyright Office website, EpicStream.com has learned that it is not accurate. The news arrived as part of a wider announcement regarding plans for a summer-wide celebration of Drizzt Do'Urden, the heroic drow elf who is following the compass of his conscience into the blinding world above, and hoping it will lead him to people worthy of his sacrifice. The announcement also came with the release of the new animated short, Sleep Sound, written by R.A. Salvatore and narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.
