Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Trailer Teases Pan's Super Saiyan Training

At Thursday's Dragon Ball Super NYCC 2021 panel, Toei Animation shared the first clip from the upcoming anime film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and in addition to the new characters and the return of the Red Ribbon Army and Broly, one of the highlights of the trailer is a look at Gohan and Videl's daughter, Pan, training to use her powers as a quarter-Saiyan.

About at the middle part of the trailer, you can see the little Pan trying to gather her energy to unleash her power. Pan is one of the first characters confirmed to appear in the Dragon Ball film, and it looks like she and the rest of Gohan's family will play an important role in the story of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Will she end up fighting the Red Ribbon Army kid shown in the beginning of the clip?

Dragon Ball Super hasn't featured Pan fight any of the major villains like Jiren, Moro, or Granolah, so this the first time we'll see the sequel series give her a chance to showcase her Saiyan powers. She wouldn't be the first female Saiyan introduced in the franchise. In the Tournament of Power, Caulifa and Kale from Universe 6 were introduced.
